People are still looking away from periods. But the same people don’t flinch when it comes to sequences of blood spilling, toe curling film gore. So for this campaign, let’s make periods just as brutal.

Irise International

A poster campaign hijacking iconic horror visuals ( scenes we’ve been desensitised to ) to highlight how absurd our discomfort with period blood really is.

Each line flips the script on what’s acceptable to show:

Activation: Triggering Dialogue in Cinema Bathrooms

Partnering with indie cinemas and installing custom tampon dispensers shaped like realistic toy guns.

Placed in bathrooms, a space juxtaposed with the violent media consumed in cinemas, the dispensers subvert expectations and spark conversation about the taboo surrounding menstruation.

Each trigger pull dispenses a tampon, highlighting the absurdity of societal discomfort.

This activation aims to generate buzz and drive awareness for the charity's mission in a memorable, shareable way.
